City Relaunches Adventure Bus to Hiawatha Highlands

Sault Transit’s Adventure Bus is back for the fall season, offering weekend access to Kinsmen Park and the Hiawatha Highlands from September 12 to October 31, weather permitting.

The twice-daily service runs every Saturday and Sunday, including statutory holidays when transit is operating, with stops at the Northern Community Centre, the Downtown Terminal, John Rhodes, and the Sault College transfer hub.

The Adventure Bus arrives at Hiawatha at 1 p.m. on its first run and 4 p.m. on its second, giving riders flexible options to explore the trails, fall colours, and outdoor activities. Standard fares apply both ways, and bicycles are welcome on buses equipped with front-mounted racks at no extra charge.

This seasonal route is designed for students, seniors, families, and anyone looking to enjoy the Highlands during peak autumn.
