Advance Polls Open for Sault Ste. Marie Municipal Election
Election Day is still a few weeks away, but Sault Ste. Marie residents can begin casting their ballots early this week.
The city is offering four advance voting dates on Oct. 7, 10, 14 and 17 at the Bay Street Active Living Centre 55+.
The advance polls provide another option for residents who may not be able to vote on Election Day or simply want to cast their ballot ahead of time.
Enhanced accessibility features and assistance will also be available for voters who need additional support.
Residents are encouraged to check the voters list before heading to the polls and make sure their information is accurate.
Voters will also need identification showing their name and address.
