High Demand for Spay and Neuter Services at Ontario North West SPCA
Thunder Bay continues to face limited access to veterinary care as clinics across Northwestern Ontario operate at capacity. The Ontario SPCA Northwest Animal Centre is seeing high demand for its spay and neuter services, with appointments booking within minutes of opening.
A full-time veterinarian is helping increase the number of animals ready for adoption and supporting local rescue groups that rely on the clinic for spay and neuter procedures. Appointments for the public open every Monday at 6 p.m. through the Ontario SPCA website.
