Police Warn of Spike in Bike Thefts
Thunder Bay Police are seeing a rise in bicycle thefts as warmer weather brings more riders onto the streets. Officers say 35 bikes have been reported stolen in just the last two months. Police urge riders to use stronger locks, secure their bikes properly, and store them indoors whenever possible. They also encourage victims to file reports online so serial numbers can be flagged and matched if the bikes are recovered.
