Historic 'Big Ben' Bus Returns to Sault Ste. Marie Streets as Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour Bus
After more than 30 years, the city’s iconic 1973 Daimler Leyland double-decker bus was saved from the scrapyard and put back on the road — bigger, brighter, and better than ever.
Now running as a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing service, Big Ben takes you to 13 of the Soo’s must-see destinations, including the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, the Canal District,The Locks, the Art Gallery of Algoma, the Station Mall, and the waterfront boardwalk.
Operated by Sault Lock Tours this nostalgic ride combines modern accessibility, comfort and GPS-guided commentary in multiple languages. This bus is sure to be a hit with tourists and locals alike.
