Halloween on Queen 2025 brings spooky fun to Downtown Sault Ste. Marie
Downtown Sault Ste. Marie was alive with Halloween excitement as families filled Queen Street for the city’s annual Halloween on Queen celebration.
This October event brought together hundreds of children dressed in creative costumes — from superheroes and witches to princesses, monsters, and movie characters — all ready to fill their treat bags and enjoy the spooky atmosphere.
Local businesses along Queen Street transformed their storefronts into festive trick-or-treat stops, each one decked out with Halloween decorations and handing out candy, prizes, and smiles. Parents and kids walked from shop to shop, taking photos, meeting neighbours, and celebrating safely in the heart of downtown.
The Downtown Association organized the event to encourage families to explore and support local businesses while creating a safe, family-friendly Halloween tradition that grows every year. Many merchants said they love the event for the energy it brings to the community and the chance to see familiar faces enjoying themselves.
For many Sault Ste. Marie families, Halloween on Queen has become a highlight of the fall season — a chance to celebrate creativity, connect with the community, and make memories before Halloween night officially arrives.
