Thunder Bay Celebrates Ukrainian Culture in Support of Humanitarian Relief
The 3rd annual Ukrainian Coffee House brought the Thunder Bay community together for an afternoon of music, dance, and cultural pride — all in support of humanitarian aid for those affected by the war. Hosted by the Zhuravli Ukrainian Folk Ensemble, the event showcased performances from local youth, dance groups, musicians, and newcomers from Ukraine who shared their talents and stories. Families filled the room with energy, enjoying traditional food, interactive activities, and heartfelt moments that highlighted the strength and resilience of Ukrainian culture. Through generosity and community spirit, attendees helped raise funds for the Canada-Ukraine Foundation’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, turning a celebration of heritage into meaningful support for those who need it most.
