Indigenous traditions mark New Year at Father Gorman | Rogers tv
Students at Father Gorman Community School marked the New Year with Indigenous cultural activities, including bannock on a stick, time on the land, and for the first time, dogsledding. The annual celebration is part of the school's ongoing effort to connect students with Indigenous traditions through hands-on learning. The activities were supported by Métis Local 18, with funding from Métis Nation Saskatchewan, helping bring cultural programming directly to students.
