Preserving the story of the settlement of Shiloh | Rogers tv

Author and historian Leander Keith Lane visited the Lloydminster Museum and Archives to share the story of the settlement of Shiloh, Saskatchewan's first black community located near Maidstone. Through a documentary screening and discussion, Lane spoke about the families who settled in the area in the early 1900's, and his own personal connection to the area. Lane is also involved in efforts to preserve the historic Shiloh Baptist Church and cemetery, important landmarks tied to the settlement's history.
