E-scooters have officially arrived in Kamloops as of early March as part of a provincial pilot project that first launched in 2021. The devices are operated by private company Bird Canada, bringing a new transportation option to the city. E-bikes are expected to roll out in early April. Once fully launched, the program will include a total of up to 300 devices, combining both e-scooters and e-bikes. The initiative aims to provide residents and visitors with a convenient, eco-friendly and affordable way to get around.
