Invisible Wounds: Steven Goode
A 25-year firefighting veteran, Steven Goode is the deputy chief of operations for the Guelph Fire Department and also served as a captain with the Cambridge Fire Department and as the Fire Chief of Puslinch Fire and Rescue Service, he presents on building a culture of resilience within the Guelph fire department. He talks about his personal experiences and how that has driven him to ensure that the next generation of firefighters have the tools and skills to deal with the mental health challenges they will face.
