Middlesex County Connect Changes Coming
Changes are coming to the 4 routes of regional transit service Middlesex County Connect and will take effect August 17th. They’re a result of a transit assessment in 2025 says Community Transportation Project Manager Demetri Makrakos.
Route 1 and Route 2 will see a stop added at Richmond and Oxford in London and some timing adjustments.
Route 3 aligns the schedule on Saturday with the weekdays and adds stops at Victoria Hospital and White Oaks Mall in London and the St. Thomas Fanshawe Campus while removing some lesser used stops in London and Southwold.
The changes to route 4 include new and relocated stops in Adelaide Metcalfe, Strathroy, Komoka and London and a 3rd round trip on weekends, which is a large part of the 1124 hours being added annually. Route 4 will also begin accepting credit and debit and be included on the Blaise app, joining the other 3 routes.
The added stop locations including Oxford and Richmond as well as Victoria Hospital, join other transit hubs location in London, Sarnia and St. Thomas.
Cost remains $5 one way on Routes 1, 2 and 3 and between $5 and $20 on route 4 depending on the length of journey.
