Changes Coming to Highway 3 Between St. Thomas and Aylmer
Residents will have a say in the future of Highway 3 between St. Thomas and Aylmer. The Ontario Ministry of Transportation is undertaking a planning, preliminary design and Class Environmental Assessment for the stretch of highway.
Stantec Consulting is undertaking the work and estimates that Highway 3 will be over capacity by 2051. Route options include extensions off Technology Trail in St. Thomas, and multiple route options that bypass downtown Aylmer.
