Legion Eyes New Home For Cenotaph
Quesnel's cenotaph, which has stood along Carson Avenue since 1922, may be relocated as the Legion repairs its aging foundation and looks to solve long-standing challenges tied to its location beside Highway 97. Legion members say future Remembrance Day ceremonies could be safer, more accessible, and easier to organize if the monument is moved onto nearby Legion property.
