Funding Helps Fill Driver Shortage
Sixteen people in Quesnel are receiving commercial driver training through an expanded DRIVE Program at the College of New Caledonia, backed by more than $343,000 in provincial and federal funding. The program is designed to help people facing employment barriers gain industry certifications and move into high-demand transportation jobs.
