Groundbreaking Held for Penticton's New Fire Hall Headquarters
The City of Penticton has officially broken ground on a new Fire Hall Headquarters on Dawson Avenue, replacing the aging Fire Hall 2 facility.
The new headquarters will feature expanded training space, upgraded health and safety features, additional apparatus bays, and modern facilities designed to meet the needs of today's firefighters. City officials say the project has been years in the making and will help improve emergency response and firefighter wellness for decades to come.
Construction is expected to continue while fire operations remain active on site, with the new headquarters anticipated to open in 2028.
