Residents Divided as New Traffic Lights Come to Southlands
Medicine Hat is installing new traffic lights at the intersection of South Boundary Road SE and Southlands Drive SE as growth continues in the Southlands neighbourhood. While some residents welcome the upgrade as a safety improvement, others question whether another set of traffic signals is needed. The City says the project will help manage increasing traffic volumes and improve safety at the busy intersection. The new lights are expected to be operational by mid-to-late October.
