Medicine Hat Partnership Builds Youth Confidence Through Skateboarding
A partnership between Our Collective Journey, the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association, and the Southeast Alberta Community Foundation is helping youth ages 12 to 18 build confidence and life skills through skateboarding.
The fully funded program combines skateboarding instruction with resiliency coaching focused on confidence, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. Participants also receive a skateboard and safety gear to keep upon completion.
