No Fireworks for Canada Day Celebrations in West End
For many Londoners, Canada Day just won’t feel the same this year.
For more than 40 years, the Optimist Club of Byron has hosted a spectacular fireworks show for the community, an event that drew more than 7,000 people last year. But with rising costs and limited financial and volunteer support, the club made the difficult decision to cancel the fireworks this year.
