Volunteers - while other organizations had to limit operations, or even close, with the arrival of the pandemic, the London Food Bank announced that it was expanding its operations. With fewer places to volunteer, scores of Londoners came to the food bank location seeking to make a difference in a troubling time. Volunteer numbers doubled during the pandemic to over 3000 - an army of caring Londoners still helping the food bank today.
