Finding A Way

Finding A Way

Food Security - food "insecurity" is what happens when struggling community members and their families experience difficulty affording and accessing food supplies. The Covid pandemic permitted the London Food Bank to invest in structures like greenhouses and food containers that could assist the community to grow its own food instead of simply relying on the global grocery stores system, which during the pandemic was frequently disrupted, resulting in shortages and higher prices. Major partners cooperated with the food bank to make this happen. These initiatives continue to operate and expand.
