Finding A Way

Finding A Way

Investing in Solutions - as part of their emergency pandemic response, governments from all levels granted funds to food banks across the country to deal with the food demand. The London Food Bank traditionally doesn't accept or apply for government funds, but in this instance, the board of the food bank accepted the one million dollars given by governments and diverted it to Project SoHo - a huge affordable housing initiative going up on the ground of the old Victoria Hospital on South Street. The funds are to be targeted for accessible food initiatives in that community . The London Food Bank saw this as a way to divert our resources towards solutions and development.
