Kamloops Young Man’s Life to Be Saved by Anonymous Donor
There was a wave of hope and celebration at this year’s Kidney Walk in Kamloops as the Firman family shared incredible news. Ryan Firman has been living with FSGS—a rare and progressive kidney disease— for the past nine years. With his kidney function dropping below 10% and no family match, the Firman launched a Facebook campaign. After 88 days, a selfless anonymous donor came forward.
