UNIFOR Rallies for Canadian Jobs.
Unifor members rallied at the B.C. Legislature in Victoria to call for stronger protections for Canadian jobs and industries threatened by U.S. tariffs, particularly in sectors such as forestry, mining, transit, hospitality, and media.
They also urged the provincial government to address forestry-sector challenges, including potential job losses, while prioritizing worker protections, public services, and economic stability.
