This episode of Oxford Empowered has us travelling down to Port Rowan to catch up with an incredible young man, Eric Harris. Eric's special needs, community support and the love and guidance of his parents, Veronica and Bob Harris have given fertile roots for him to soar. Eric's love of music was fostered from a young age through his first exposure to fiddle music and his soul wish to learn how to play. Music inspired Eric and provided the balm to inspire others to learn how to play as well. Eric performs regularly at his Church, and has played at various events and venues. Eric has also created, along with his dad, Bob, a series of bird house replicas of historical Churches in the area as well. The community rallies behind supporting these various Bird-Churches which have become community landmarks in their own right.
