Penticton Pier to be Replaced
The Penticton Pier has stood for over 40 years and has become a well known landmark in the community. The City of Penticton has recently announced that the pier has reached its end of life and is going to be replaced. The project will see a new pier installed at half the distance due to increasing construction costs. The budget for the project is 800,000 dollars and will be completed before the start of summer.
