City Council Approves Controversial High Rise in Byron
City Council voted 13-2 on Tuesday in support of a 10 storey apartment building on Commissioners Road West in Byron, directly across from Springbank Park. The project was endorsed by planning staff after the developer reduced the proposed height by two storeys, but it will still be taller than any of the other buildings in the neighbourhood, leaving many local residents feeling frustrated and disappointed.
