Pride London Summer Festival Kicks Off
Pride London’s Summer Festival returns, and kicks off with the 35th annual Art Show Gala on Friday at 6pm at TAP Centre for Creativity. Robyn Hodgson is the president of Pride London and is excited that the TAP Centre is full of work from local artists.
Hodgson says that angst many in the community are feeling is why the festival is important.
Events happen throughout the week and the schedule can be found at pridelondon.ca. It culminates with three days of performances at Victoria Park July 17th to 19th, and the 30th annual Pride Parade on Sunday, July 19th beginning at the Western Fair District and noon and working its way to Victoria Park.
