NDP Releases Full Lloydminster Health Report | Rogers tv
The Saskatchewan NDP has released what it says is the full Lloydminster Health Services Needs Assessment, weeks after the Saskatchewan and Alberta governments made public only a four-page summary of the report. The leaked document includes recommendations left out of that summary, including a five-bed regional intensive care unit, increasing hospital capacity from 66 to 76 funded beds, a new mental health short stay unit, a Primary Access Clinic, and a 132% increase in community mental health staffing. The report also concludes Lloydminster Hospital is no longer adequate for the population it serves. The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health did not directly address whether it disputes the authenticity of the leaked document.
