Mixtape Fundraiser in Protest of Proposed Rossland Mine
A group of musicians, all with a connection to the alpine community of Rossland, have come together on a mixtape in protest of the proposed open pit magnesium mine that would be located 7 kilometers from the resort community. The mixtape is not only being used as a way to amplify concerned voices, but also as a fundraiser for the Save Record Ridge Action Committee, who plans to appeal a recent decision by a BC Supreme Court judge, who deemed an environmental assessment was not necessary for the mine to proceed.
