Child on Bicycle Injured as Driver Flees Scene
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hit and run collision in Kitchener.
On August 19, 2026, at approximately 3:15 p.m., an unknown driver of a white Honda CR-V was travelling on Parkvale Drive near Bianca Court when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a child riding a bicycle on the grass. The driver continued through the grass area, returned to the roadway, and failed to remain at the scene of the collision.
The victim, an eight-year-old child, sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Police are looking to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection to this investigation.
