Derbyshire and Grantham Face Off in Debate
Strathroy-Caradoc mayoral candidates Brian Derbyshire and Colin Grantham faced off in front of nearly 150 spectators at the Portuguese Canadian Club during the only televised debate. While they did agree on the need to view each of the townships as one municipality and not wanting to use strong mayor powers, they sparred on the Mount Brydges wastewater plant, Fire Services purchasing, plans for the Tri Township arena, CAO hiring, and the 7-2 votes at council.
