Recovery tails
The City of Victoria, Recovery Tails Society and BC Housing are launching a $90,000 program providing free, temporary foster care for pets while their owners access treatment, hospitalization, shelters or housing. The 18-month program aims to remove pet-care barriers by offering voluntary foster placements of one to six months for dogs, cats and other small pets.
