High level of child poverty in Prince Albert and Saskatchewan’s North
Saskatchewan has the highest rate of child poverty of all provinces in the country, according to a recent report from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. A breakdown by region reveals a high degree of disparity in the province, with higher rates in Prince Albert at 35.4 percent, and the North at 62 percent.
