New Veteran Homelessness Program to be Launched in the Regional District of Nanaimo
A new federally funded program is bringing more than $1.3 million to the Nanaimo region to help veterans at risk of homelessness find and keep stable housing. Local agencies, led by United Way BC, are preparing to roll out supports that include rent assistance, counselling, and outreach to veterans who may not be seeking help.
