Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Renovates for First Time in 25 Years
The Women’s Shelter Society in Medicine Hat has completed its first renovation in 25 years, expanding capacity to 30 beds and adding modern amenities like upgraded family rooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Thanks to support from the city, province, county, and generous donors, the shelter is now better equipped to provide safety, comfort, and healing for women and families in crisis.
This transformation marks a powerful step toward building a more compassionate community.
