Council Rejects 8 Story Development on Sarnia Road
A controversial student housing project has been capped at 6 storeys, after Orchard Park residents mounted a campaign to limit the height of the proposed development. The request to increase the height to 8 storeys was endorsed by city staff and approved by the planning committee, but rejected by councillors after several of them visited the site and spoke to local residents.
