London Mayoral Candidates Take Part in All-Candidates Debate
London’s only televised all-candidate mayoral debate took place at Aeolian Hall Wednesday. Hosted by Rogers tv, 9 of the 12 invited candidates attended and answered questions from a panel of writers from the Loon, London Ontario Online News.
They covered topics including homelessness, property tax increases, London police budgets, the present and future of the city, strong mayor powers, and renovictions.
The debate premieres on Rogers tv on Tuesday, September 22nd at 9:30pm and can also be seen on Rogers tv’s Youtube channel. Election day is October 26th.
