NB - Fredericton Greenhouse - May 22, 2025
As part of a recent open house initiative, the City of Fredericton opened the doors to its greenhouse. In this piece, we find out about the city's work in growing locally sourced trees to be planted across the area for sustainability. We also hear about its efforts to plant edible fruit trees and perennials to both give local residents access to healthy snacks while out and about as well as helping in pollination and providing nutrients to the soil.
