Regional District of Central Kootenay opens compost sales to the public
The Regional District of Central Kootenay has now opened sales on their compost to the public. Its been 2 years since the green bin curbside compost program was rolled out, and the RDCK has turned the household compost into Grade A material suitable for lawns and gardens. A win for the program, which takes compostable material destined for the landfill and turns it into a valuable resource.
