Saskatchewan offers apology, agrees to pay $40.2M to Île-à-la-Crosse residential school survivors

The Saskatchewan government has reached an agreement in principle to pay $40.2M to students of the former Île-à-la-Crosse boarding school. On the eve of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe also offered an apology to survivors and their families.
