Goldstream Volunteer Salmonid Enhancement Association Fish Clipping.
Volunteers are currently needed to help at the Goldstream Volunteer Salmonid Enhancement Association, in coordination with the South Vancouver Island Anglers Coalition (SVIAC)
Clipping adipose fins on coho fry/salmon to help distinguish hatchery-raised fish from wild fish for the local fishery.
The Goldstream Volunteer Salmonid Enhancement Association are looking for help with enhancement, education, and maintenance of the number of Coho and Chum salmon available in the waters off the south easterly tip of Vancouver Island for the sports fishery, native food fishery, local commercial and charter operations.
