Vernon's 2025 unhoused count shows Indigenous peoples to be overrepresented
The count was completed in one day, and surveyed the living conditions of 199 unhoused people. Of the 199, 32 per cent identified as Indigenous, in Canada, Indigenous peoples make up only 7 per cent of the population.
