Celebrate Ottawa

Philip Schubert - Letters to the Granddaughter - The Story of Dillon Wallace of the Labrador Wild

  • Celebrate Ottawa

Born at the confluence of three great rivers, Ottawa has evolved from humble rustic beginnings, into a bustling lumber town and now a thriving metropolis with an easy cosmopolitan vibe. With its rich history, unique geography, and diverse arts, culture and people, Canada’s capital has much to offer for visitors and those who call it home. It is a city of more than one million people, steeped in culture, alive with celebration, and an urban centre on the edge of nature.

Celebrate Ottawa is a showcase of the attributes and achievements that make our community so unique. Host Leila Grein takes our viewers on location to interesting events taking place in the city and gives them an exclusive behind the scenes look. She speaks to remarkable people that are inspirational and driving forces behind this city's creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and community initiatives. The show is complemented by a collection of stories that frame this incredible city. These unique story angles uncover a different side to Ottawa, portraying it as more than just the nation's capital. Come explore this dynamic city with us!

Our new season started October 6, 2024. Catch us on Sundays at 7pm for new episodes. Thank you for watching!
