Sukanen Fire Collections
A small group of dedicated volunteers work to preserve and display an eclectic collection of vintage firefighting equipment at the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village & Museum just outside Moose Jaw, SK. The collection includes a recreated 1920's-style fire hall, over a dozen retired fire trucks, and many unique items from the past century – all with their own story. Along with preserving the past, the group has plans for the future - putting up a new building to house the growing collection and the many fire engines still waiting to be restored. #ShawSpotlight #ShawSpotlightHistory #Firefighting
