St. Joseph's Expands Support for Non-English Speakers
For people who don’t speak english fluently, navigating a hospital can be an overwhelming experience. Now, St. Joseph’s Health Care London is using volunteers and technology to help make that first step a little easier.
Volunteers at hospital entrances are now wearing buttons identifying the languages they speak. So far, 14 languages are represented, including spanish, mandarin, arabic, and polish.
